Vietnamese coffee variation from North to South of Vietnam. The well-known Vietnamese coffee consists of Robusta Vietnamese coffee ground brewed through a phin filter and sweetened with condensed milk. Do you know that Vietnam actually grows coffee beans? They’re mostly grown in the Central highland regions where fertile volcanic soil provides an amazing condition for the plant. One of the unique variations of the beverage is the Vietnamese Egg Coffee or Cà Phê Trung, sometimes described as “liquid tiramisu.” The whipped egg yolk coffee was made famous by a café in Hanoi which you can still taste the original recipe of Egg Coffee in Hanoi’s Old Quarter at Café Giang.

Hội An is an ancient town located in the central coastal region of Vietnam. Some of its buildings are listed on the UNESCO’s list of cultural heritage. It was once an important Southeast Asian port facilitating foreign trades with the Chinese, Japanese, and Dutch from the 15th-19th century period. The prominent yellow color is significant in the Vietnamese culture and symbolizes royalty, luck, pride and prosperity. Some also think that yellow is suitable for tropical climates because it absorbs less heat. Nevertheless, the color can be seen covering majority of the buildings in the town, creating a unique architectural vibe.
