During our Vietnam trip, we’ve had the pleasure of eating homecooked meals by our friend’s family and also through a tour arrangement. As foodies ourselves, the opportunity to experience a new culture at its core essence of everyday home cooking is truly priceless.

📷 Sizzling goat stir-fried is Ninh Binh’s specialty. The seasoned meat is eaten like a DIY fresh spring roll wrap with pineapple chunks, cucumbers, fresh herbs, and soy bean sauce. The other homemade table display is a hotpot made with fermented fish ingredients. Roasted pork, fish balls, noodles, and herbs such as lotus root, water spinach, and banana blossom filled the pot for a fun shared food experience.
